Inspired by the Concordia workshop Working with Indigenous Peoples held as part of the Pîkiskwêtân Indigenous Learning Series, this collaboratively-created bilingual guide aims to reach beyond the university setting and recommend resources to assist those interested in successfully and genuinely engaging with Indigenous communities, collectives and organizations.
Collaborating partners: Mikana, an Indigenous non-profit organization whose mission is to work for social change by educating different audiences on the realities and perspectives of Indigenous peoples, Montreal Indigenous Community NETWORK, a non-profit organization committed to improving the quality of life of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis communities living in the greater Montreal area, Concordia University's Office of Community Engagement, a unit that develops and supports meaningful and mutually-beneficial relationships between the university and the diverse communities of Montreal, and Concordia Library.
